Golden Roses:
           Senior Adult Ministry

        “Golden Roses” is the name given to our Senior Adult group of 55 and older. We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 9:30 AM in Room #201. You are cordially invited to attend. We are an active and friendly group of people who love to fellowship and serve the Lord together. We have several activities each year and have several flourishing Sunday School classes.

        During the month of September we meet to plan a calendar for the upcoming year. This is done in order to reserve our church bus, and to coordinate with other activities which may be happening on the same dates.

       Please mark your calendar for the events that interest you. As the time nears, please watch for an announcement in the Church bulletin. Due to the nature of the trips we take, all trips are considered tentative. Please check with Valinda Walker the day before the trip to make sure that all plans are finalized.

       February 12th - Valentine Lunch at Harbor Inn in Burlington
       March 27th - "The Living Cross" in Lynchburg, VA

       May 25th - Alamance Crossing Mall in Greensboro (TBA)
       June 16th - Picnic (TBA)
       July 9th - Farmer’s Market/Breakfast (TBA)
       August 14th - Johnston County Community Theatre (TBA)
       September 15th - Luncheon/Speaker (TBA)
       October 19th - NC State Fair (TBA)
       November 17th - Tearoom in Wake Forest (TBA)
       December 4th - Christmas Show (TBA)
